The Founder President (1961 – 1963) of the Overseas Student Association, Jimmy was also the council member in the Student Union in 1962. Now the Managing Director of Antara Koh Pte Ltd, Jimmy has continued to made contributions to the UNSW Alumni Singapore Chapter as the President of the Chapter. Jimmy is currently the Alumni's advisor for 2006-2007 |

Bio:
Ernest was a Lee Foundation scholar and taught by A/Prof Tim Hesketh, now Associate Dean (Academic), Faculty of Engineering. After graduating with BEng (Elect). He came back to Singapore to work at Public Works Department which evolve to the current CPG Corp. As a consultant with CPG, Ernest was responsible for the planning, design, supervision and project management of electrical/mechanical & specialist systems in the major Programme for Rebuilding and Improving Existing schools (PRIME) of more than 25 schools. As well as involve with MOE IT master plan to bring cutting edge IT to the neighborhood schools. After leaving CPG joined a technology company to develop furthers the IT for more challenging time to engage further large-scale infrastructure projects in the region. Through SSA at UNSW met Yvonne at a BBQ and we are now married with two adorable daughters.
Ernest is currently with Century Technology Pte Ltd as a Manager and is also a Corporate Member of the Building Industry Consulting Service International (BiCSi).

Subsequently to obtaining her undergraduate degree, she went on to pursue her Masters at the University of Sydney, majoring in Economics and a minor in Management.
She is a member with CPA, Australia and the Deputy Chairman of the Social Committee.
She is currently the Head Financial Accounting with Singapore Aero Engine Services Pte Ltd, a joint venture between Rolls-Royce, Hong Kong Engines Services Ltd & SIA Engineering Company.
She joins the UNSW Alumni Singapore Chapter this year as Treasurer for year 2006 - 08

Dominic Chia

Bio:
CPA (Australia) graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Accounting, Finance and Systems from the University of New South Wales, (Australia).
Started work in 1986, with working experiences in Sydney, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore. With many years of corporate and business experiences in various roles and was trained for several years with big 4 accounting firms in taxation and audit. His area of core competency is in general management and financial management and he has worked in various private and public-listed companies. He is also a Principal consultant of a management consulting firm, RRMI International.
He actively serves as Deputy Chairman for the Networking Group for CPA Australia, Assistant Secretary for Jade Valley Neighborhood Committee, a grassroot sub-committee of the local community council and an active member of the local catholic church serving in the Parish Pastoral Council Committee. |

Yvonne Chow

Bio:
Yvonne is a Malcolm Chaikin Foundation scholar and was taught by Prof Wainwright (now Vice Chancellor). After graduating with BEng (Chemical) with 1st Class Honours, she continued at UNSW with an Australian Postgraduate Research Award to obtain a PhD in Biotechnology. Yvonne returned to Singapore to promote R&D through her work at A*STAR, and with the set up of a Biocatalysis research lab at the new Institute of Chemical & Engineering Institute, she is currently there pursuing her ambition as a scientist.
Through SSA at UNSW she met Ernest and they are now married with two adorable daughters. Yvonne now works for Institute of Chemical & Engineering Sciences (A*STAR) as a Research Fellow

4 years of Australia has given Kelvin a Master degree and enriching experiences never will he ever actualize if gliding along the horizon was his decision. Understanding the importance of an internationalized education has fuelled his passion in becoming an effective education advisor and a spokesperson for our future generation. He is now managing AusEd-UniEd Singapore and a partner to Matfeld International Student Services. Kelvin is a confident individual with high energy and drive. Besides working hard, he will find time for his family, friends, sports, community development and the arts. During his time as Sports Director of SSA 2000-2001, SSA managed to achieve victory in both UNSW Asia Games and the NSW Singapore National Day Games.

An ‘Esmes’-addict, Eileen graduated with merit in April 2003 with Bachelor of Commerce, double majoring Marketing and Japanese Communications. An opportunist who does not let opportunity slips by, she kept her 3-year stint in Sydney busy, involving herself as the Secretary of the Singapore Student Association from 2001 – 02, and working on casual basis with the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Center. After the finale of her three fulfilling, happiest Sydney years, Eileen now works for Reed Exhibitions as a Project Sales Executive with a portfolio of media, maritime & infrastructure projects. |

Upon graduation she worked in KL for 9 months before finally settling back in Singapore.

Having settled in Australia, US, Singapore and China over the past 5 years, the one thing that holds this Alumnus down is her loyalty to her alma mater - UNSW.
Junice graduated from the Class of 2001 in Bachelor of Commerce, but not without enriching her three years at UNSW with activities outsider her double major. Junice served as President for the Singapore Students' Association, and as a representative of the International Student Exchange Program in the US.
Junice specialises in Brand Management professionally today.
Previously in the FMCG industry based in China. she has recently relocated back to her homeground, Singapore.
As a proud ambassador to her heritage and culture, she is developing the Singapore brand at the Singapore Tourism Board today.

Tommy is currently the Marketing Manager for SembCorp Parks Management, a subsidiary of SembCorp Industries and Asia’s foremost integrated services group that focuses on infrastructure, marine engineering and information technology.
During his UNSW stint, Tommy was the Sports Secretary for the Singapore Student Association (UNSW) from 1996 to 1997.
Tommy was the Secretary of the UNSW Alumni Singapore Chapter - Secretary from 2000 to 2003, and he continues to contribute his efforts as a committee member to the alumni for 2004-2005, and 2006-2007 |

Bob’s activities now centre around telecommunications investments, strategy and operations, management consulting and biometrics where Bob is chairman of a regional biometrics company.
Bob practised law with Baker & McKenzie and was then Project GM, Bond University & member university council. With British Telecom he was regional GM business strategy and development; BT project director for Starhub & products VP Starhub through launch. Other roles have included regional director for a US broadband services company and group CEO for the listed TIME dot Com Bhd (TIME Telekom) Malaysia.
At UNSW he was president of the law society for 80,81. He has given various classes and talks at UNSW, Bond, Singapore Management University and NUS and is a frequent speaker at seminars and conferences. |

Leonard Yong is currently a Private Banker/Vice-President with the Commonwealth Private Bank. Prior to that, he held an appointment as Executive Manager with Westpac Private Bank, Singapore. He has had working experience in local/local foreign banks such as OCBC and Citigroup Private Bank. He also had a break in between his banking career as the Regional Sales and Marketing Manager of Asian Tour (PGA), exposing him to regional events management and multi-million sponsorship programs.
A graduate of University of Sydney and post-graduate at UNSW, Leonard firmly believes that his education in Australia formed the foundation of his successful career and on which he can work towards further aspirations. |
