A talk and panel discussion, “Developing more effective arbitration environments for trade and financial services: lessons from world centres” hosted by Singapore Management University Office of Executive Education and School of Business. The talk covered the uses of arbitration, global arbitration statistics, and the aspects of leading world arbitration centres which have set them apart. The panel discussed drew on the lessons to contribute to thinking on moving Singapore to global arbitration hub status. This collaboration between UNSW and SMU in Singapore is a first.
